Background

Miles is a Field Crew Leader and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist, with 10 years of experience in natural resource management and geographic information systems. He has led natural resource management projects in Washington, Clackamas, and Multnomah counties and conducted extensive GIS surveys and mapping of wetland, stream, and forest habitats. He also guides our vegetation and resource management practices by collecting spatial data on our weed control and restoration efforts. His expertise includes wetland delineation, vegetation monitoring, aerial photography using drones, and environmental management planning.

Miles’ complex mapping projects include a watershed-level mitigation analysis that evaluated land use types, topography, soils, and land ownership to identify mitigation opportunities.
