Emergent, Shrub, and Tree Planting

Green Banks was contracted to install approximately 15,000 native herbs, grasses, rushes, and sedges and 12,000 native trees and shrubs at the Foster Creek Mitigation Bank in Clackamas County, Oregon. Green Banks’ restoration experts minimized soil disturbance by using specialized tools, including plug dibbles and drill augers. Minimal soil disturbance can be important on sites with a non-native "weed" seed bank, because the disturbance of topsoil often increases the rate of weed seed germination.

Green Banks' restoration experts utilize low impact planting methods and tools, including augers, to minimize soil disturbance.
