Background
Alec joined Green Banks in 2023. His work as a Natural Resource Technician includes habitat management, vegetation surveying, non-native weed control, and native seeding and planting. Alec’s previous natural resource experience includes the removal of invasive fish species from Oregon’s Cascade Lakes and field research involving river and lake ecosystems in Central Oregon. In addition to pursuing his passion for restoration through his work at Green Banks, Alec enjoys surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and spending time with loved ones – including his dog, Mia.
