Mitigation Banks
Tualatin Valley Environmental Bank (TVEB): In Process
Phase I of the TVEB is proposed on approximately 152 acres, located in Hillsboro, Oregon.
The TVEB is proposed to provide mitigation options for wetland impacts within the Tualatin River Watershed (HUC 17090010), below 500 feet in elevation. It is predicted to generate a maximum of 49 wetland mitigation credits, with the restoration, creation, and enhancement of a total of approximately 90 acres of wetland, and the additional restoration of 60 acres of upland forest and prairie habitat.
A wetland mitigation bank prospectus for Phase I of the Tualatin Valley Environmental Bank was submitted to the state and federal government in August of 2009. We anticipate having an approved mitigation bank instrument for Phase I by the summer of 2010, with wetland mitigation credits available shortly thereafter.
Phase I of The Tualatin Valley Environmental Bank is a Joint Venture between Dave Heikes Farms, Inc., and Green Banks, LLC. More information about this project will be posted shortly.
